Oil Filter Customers Testimonials

After experiencing a significant power & fuel mileage improvement in my 1992 HD Sportster after installing your air & oil filters, I finally purchased an air filter for my 2002 5.4 lliter V8 Expedition. Have not finished the first tank of gas since installing to check fuel mileage improvement, but the improved accleration was quickly noticed. Engine starts easier, warms up quicker, & the acceleration from a dead stop is noticeably brisker according to my seat-of-the-pants dyno !!! At my age(57) I have finally decided on some absolutes in my life: Jesus, Harley-Davidson, Amsoil syn lubricants in everything, Accell spark plugs & wires, Amsoil/K&N oil filters, but the air filter has got to be nothing less than K&N !!! Thanks for adding new life to the internal combustion engine. PS: Got an air filter for my JD riding mower ??? It could use some improvement also---ha-ha-ha

Man o Man u guys must be personally thanked and rewarded, me and my family currently use more then 10 K&N air filters, the difference is huge, the performance and throttle response is crisp and punchy without sacrificing mileage instead it has increased by say 12% to 18%. Once I install a K&N product I forget about it as I know it will take utmost care of my machine . Till now I have purchased K&N R-1060, RU-3750, R-1100, RC-1060, K&N Oil Filter and the list just goes on man. Thaaaaaanx a lot guys and the most significant thing is afterall being imported to our country with all duties and all still the purchase price is reasonable thaaanx again ...

I've had K&N filters on everything I've owned since 1991 when I bought my first Turbo Buick.  Recently I traded in my '99 Z28 daily driver/race car for something more practical and an upgrade.  I bought a pre-owned 2005 Mercedes C55 AMG.  I figured if i must have 4 doors I should at least still have something with power and fun to drive.  I knew nothing about Mercedes under the hood and wasn't even sure where the filters went.  I've never owned anything but GM previously.  I discovered the car has two panel air filters and I wanted to switch to my tried and true K&N option.

My friend who owns a performance shop also had bought a C55 at the same time I did.  After dyno testing in stock mode, and then again w/ the filters removed and a temporary K&N cone over the MAF, it picked up 10 rwhp.  We then installed K&N OE location panel filters and dyno tested again.  He picked up 8 rwhp over the stock panel air filters.  A worthwhile gain!  We then dyno'd mine this weekend and found some clogged disposable air filters in it.  Mine picked up 11 rwhp w/o the disposable panels air filters in it, so I went ahead and ordered my K&N's through his distributor.  8+ rwhp gains for less than $100 is money well spent!

I plan to use the K&N oil filter elements also as I intend to change my oil more often than the recommended MB service intervals.

Hi my name is Valencio Miranda. I am a Roller Skating Instructor having my own coaching class as well as I coach in a few reputed schools in Mumbai India.

Ever since I can remember, I have been crazy about your product, but it really took some time before I could actually buy one for myself and now I have a biggest smile on my face. This smile has my family and fiancée wondering what's on my mind. Now they will know... Its your filter. I had bought a second hand Ford Ikon 1.6 GLX 2001 model which had done about 38000 km and the first owner never actually took care of it.

After restoring it to some glory, I saved enough to buy my dream filter. Earlier I used to get only 8 kmpl and it was getting to be a burden. Then I spoke to your dealer Mr Razza in Mumbai who explained to me and helped in advising me according to my needs to put your stock filter. And now after calculating many times I could not believe that I was now actually getting 9.5 kmpl in the same condition or even worse Mumbai traffic. I felt it my duty to thank all your engineers and may God bless all of you for this "LIFE GIVING PRODUCT". I have even called Mr Razza and thanked him for his genuine advice. Thank you once again. I will be surely telling everyone about your products and since I am a roller skating coach if ever you have something I could use such as some speed oil let me know. Thanks once again for making me have my big smile.

K&N cold air intake 77 series in 1997 F-150 4.6L 2WD

I installed my 77 Series cold air intake today. It was a very easy thing to do and it works very nicely with my headers and my own modified exhuast *headers cats turndowns* no Y pipe or muffler :) Sets the engine free and once I got the exhale part down for my engine I needed a better intake. I looked around saw a few cheaper cold air kits but I told my self if I'm going to do this its going to be right and done with the best. So I went to Autozone yesterday ordered it and it was here today at noon. Everything hooked up smooth no probs with connecting any stock things into place. I noticed a difference right away in the sound and the power. I was doing 10MPH and then floored it and the tires spun and the back end went flying to the right side :) The only bad thing is my engine is kinda muddy and oily so this big shiny pipe makes my engine look really dirty but oh well. I really like this and enjoy it. I just wanna drive every were now because of it. Thank you K&N for such an awesome product and the next oil change I do one of your filters will be going on. Thanks a lot guys!

Your air filter and oil filter has made my Chevrolet Cobalt perform much better with faster starting and better acceleration, and I also noticed my car goes about 40-60 km more per tank!

Just a few lines to say that I am a confirmed K&N customer and I believe that your oil filters are the best and I buy enough to keep my Chevy powered Jaguar supplied for 12 months at a time. The reason that new vehicle manufacturers don't fit your great products is that they must have vested interests elsewhere; they probably make more moola from the ever suffering public who are only cannon fodder for the RICH.

Thanks for giving the "Average Joe" a fair deal!! Merry Xmas to All ....

K&N Keeps My Engine Lubricated and Breathing!
I'm from Anchorage, Alaska, and I have a 1990 Chevy K1500 that originally came with the 4.3L V6, and that engine eventually broke down. I had a friend install a 350 V8, and due to budget restrictions, we reused the small 10 air cleaner from the V6, severely restricting the new V8's ability to breath. But before my old V6 died, I had purchased a K&N Air Filter replacement, so when I installed it on my V8, my performance and mileage improved considerably! I gained an extra 100 miles per tank of gas. I intend to give this filter to a friend with an older S10 Blazer and purchase an FIPK II for my V8!

I also have replaced the old oil filter with a K&N Gold oil filter, and I now average 40-50 psi instead of 30 psi with a standard oil filter. It also stays much cleaner, extending my oil changes to every 5000-7500 miles instead of every 3000.
Thanks K&N!

I Can't Believe It
I can't believe it, but it's true what people are saying about the KN filter. I'm using the KN filter for the first time and what a big improvement it made for my 2005 Chevy Avalanche. Now my wife wants it placed in her SUV 2005 Equinox and my son as well in looking forward to purchasing the high performance. With gas prices on the rise this is a great way to save money and bring better performance to your new or old vehicle. My son has me thinking about the high performance air charger (air intake) as well as the oil filter. A customer for life...

Thank you,

I am a quarter midget mom and we use the K&N air filters on our car. It is a weekly ritual for me to clean the air filters. I usually bring the filter home and clean it with dawn dish soap in my kitchen sink. Recently our local pep boys store had a sale running on the air filter kit which we decided to buy for the oil but that kit also contained the cleaner which I had never used on our micro sprint nor the quarter midget in our past 8 years of racing. So anyway I read the directions and sprayed the cleaner on the filter and let it sit in my kitchen sink to soak for the 10 minutes, I got busy and had to run out of the house so it ended up sitting there for a few hours. When I got home I went to continue cleaning the filter and low and behold when I picked up the filter there was a beautiful white spot in my very old porcelain sink. So I grabbed the cleaner a sprayed the entire sink left it soak for awhile rubbed (not scrub) over it with a brush and I now have a very white shiny sink. I have tried everything to clean this sink and nothing would take away that dingy yellow old hard water stains until now. I will be using the cleaner from now on (and maybe even trying it in the bathroom).

I also wanted to add that the filter, cleaner, and oil all work excellent for there intended purpose (keeping a lot of the dirt from ruining our engines) as well. Thanks!

Hi;
I have a 2005 Ford Escape XLT 4X4 with the 3.0L V6. It is a great SUV to begin with and your air filter made it even better. It has much better acceleration and the engine idles smoother, it starts faster and my gas mileage went up as well, I was only getting about 18 mpg without it and now I'm getting 22mpg in the city! I also have your oil filter as well and I believe that since your air and oil filters filter out more junk than regular filters it will increase the life of the engine.

Thanks,

I installed a K&N air filter in my 2002 Monte Carlo and let me tell you I definitely noticed a difference. The throttle response is much greater than before I put the filter in. I also love the fact that I won't have to replace it for a while. I just wanted to thank you guys for this and I'm going to buy your oil filter next time I change my oil. You guys are awesome.

I took my 2004 F-150 pickup in for its routine service. The air filter needed to be changed. I asked how much a new paper filter would be. They said $35.00. I was shocked because I change them out almost every time I change my oil. Then a friend turned me on to K&N. I figured I would give it a shot since I needed a new air filter anyway. WOW! I didn't expect anything other then whoopty doo, an air filter.... I could tell instantly how much more power my truck had. It had more zip to it than it usually does. I was shocked. I then went home and purchased one for my 2005 Chevy Tahoe. Just think, I could have spent $35.00 every other month for the next 4 or so years or just spend a few more dollars and never have to replace my air filter AGAIN! This is so well worth the money it's not even funny. K&N this is to a job well done. Amazing product! I will install a K&N filter on every vehicle I own for the rest of my life!

Thanks again!

K&N:
I would like to say first and foremost that you offer some top notch products. I have been running your oil filter ever since I bought my 98 Jeep Wrangler 2 years ago. I recently purchased a conical style filter along with a tube adapter for the air intake system on my 4.0L I6 engine (242 ci). The first thing I noticed was the increased throttle response, especially at the first touch of the pedal. The overall power increase is amazing, and it feels like my engine can breath again compared to its old restrictive air box. I also noticed a massive increase when going up hills, not only does the Jeep maintain speed with my 33 inch tires howling down the road, but when I step on it...it does not hesitate! Thank you once again from a loyal consumer.

I have an Econoline 150 van, with a K&N air and oil filter on. The van is a 300 ci in line 6-cylinder engine, which stock runs around 14 mpg. With these upgrades I am able to achieve 30 mpg at 55 mph or 22 mpg at highway speeds of 65-70 mph. The overall engine performance is phenomenal, excellent throttle response and an added (at least) 20 horsepower altogether. Torque has also improved tremendously over the OEM equipment. The most noticeable difference is climbing the steep hills around Lake Michigan, before the "dog" would struggle up, you could tell there was an airflow issue. After I installed the air filter, she powers right up those hills without missing a beat. I couldn't imagine running without these excellent products. My active lifestyle demands performance with frequent 1000+ miles trips, including those to the deserts of Nevada and New Mexico. Thanks K&N!

We purchased our 2002 Kia Sedona van from a friend who no longer needed such a large vehicle. He always stated that it only achieved no better than 21mpg on the highway. Well, the first thing I did was to find a K&N filter on the web and get one for this van. In town mileage improved somewhat but after changing the oil with synthetic and having the plugs changed, mileage really improved. We just returned from a 1600 mile Texas vacation and got a high of 24.4mpg at an average of 70mph! To clarify things a bit more, our friend mostly traveled alone and this trip to Texas was just my wife and I; although we did bring back lots of souvenirs, gifts and Christmas presents. I didn't check the mileage on the trip home because I know the added weight of "stuff" helped drop it. I'm just glad to know that the mpg has gone up period. I also like the growl it makes when I accelerate hard.

Thanks,

I own a 2004 Honda Civic 1.7liter ex coupe, and about two months ago I installed the 69-1008TB Typhoon Short-Ram Air Intake. WOW! I can't believe the difference! My car always felt like it struggled some when it was accelerating with the stock air box, so I got the K&N replacement air filter to help out some. I noticed a slight increase in performance, but the stock inlet tube was right next to the fender wall, getting hardly any air! If you own an 04 civic, save up for the Typhoon kit. My engine looks so much cleaner with the typhoon, sounds MUCH sweeter, and I have noticed a 20 to 25 mpg increase in my fuel mileage (I have an auto transmission). Excellent product, K&N! The drastic change in my acceleration is unbelievable! Your magazine ad is true, it put boost in my drive! Every time I accelerate (especially if I punch it) I smile from ear to ear. One of the biggest changes I love the most is the new sound that roars from underneath my hood when I accelerate! This sound alone is enough reason to buy this kit! I simply cannot wait until I am able to hook up a cat-back exhaust system to my civic....the sweet roar of the Typhoon coupled with the low rumble of the cat-back! All of this talk about the typhoon has made me want to go driving. Thanks, K&N, for all of your research, development, and hard work! I love your products, and 3 oil changes ago I switched to synthetic motor oil and the K&N Performance Gold Oil Filter.
Rock on!

Best filter around. My dad ran them in his racing bikes in the late 60's early 70's. The first thing I do when I buy a vehicle is order one. For the skeptics out there that think you're going to get more dirt in your engine, because of the increased air flow: My best friend is a mechanic and has changed my oil since day one. He actually complimented me on having really clean oil. No sign what so ever of sludge, build-up, or dirt.

I have been using K&N products in my cars since I first put one of your air filters on my '97 Mustang and noticed an instant seat-of-the-pants improvement in acceleration and a fuel mileage improvement of about 25 miles per tank. I now use both K&N air filters and oil filters on my '99 Mustang and an air filter on my girlfriends '02 Maxima. The filters also need to be "charged", so I keep a filtercharger (cleaning) kit handy. I have already broken even from not replacing the paper filters on both cars. The durability and quality of your products is legendary, but is also evident to anyone who cares to take more than a casual glance at the craftsmanship of your goods. Keep makin' 'em in the USA, and I will keep buying 'em! I am a customer for life!

I just wanted to say thanks so much for the detailed installation instructions that was included in my FIPK Kit. My 02 Ford Expedition now really sings. I'm no mechanic by any means. I change my own oil and fluids but that's about the extent of my skills. I was really hesitant at first about buying a FIPK kit because I wasn't really sure I could do it. Kudos to your website. I printed installation instructions before I even ever bought the kit to see if it was something I might could do. After reading the instructions and identifying parts in the motor, I decided to go out and purchase the kit. In under 1.5 hours, I had it installed and back on the road. Once again, thanks SO MUCH for the great pics and instructions. I never would have attempted it without the great support.

Sincerely,

First time buyer of your air filter

First of all I'd like to say what a fine job you folks are doing. I have a Dodge Ram quad cab 1500 with a 4.7 motor in it. I love my truck but I hate the gas it sucks up, so I decide to buy an air filter from you because my friend has one on his motorcycle. He told me that it made a big deference on his bike so I put it in my truck and man I gained 2 more miles to the gallon right off the bat. I can't believe it but it does work so my next move is to put one in my motorcycle and I'm going to get the oil filter too. Once again keep up the good work.

Why I only use K&N filters

Years ago, I only used foam filters - OEM, (brand names removed) on my motocross bikes. If I over-oiled the filter, the bikes ran too rich and ran poorly. Every now and then I'd get too little oil in part of the foam, allowing dirt into the motor. We called this "sanding" the motor. I had to re-bore the motor, and replace the piston, rings and sometime the crank and bearings. You could only re-bore the cylinder a few times before replacement was required. At the time, it seemed to be "one of those things" that all of us racers had to endure.

When I purchased a used CAN-AM motocross bike, it had a K&N filter. Due to the placement and design of the airbox, I found I could remove the seat and bang the rubber top of the filter to knock off the loose stuff, and re-oil. It didn't seem to matter if I put too much oil on it, since excess oil would drain off overnight. So much easier, and I never had to re-bore that engine. So, I guess I was using your filters because I was lazy and it was easy. And it worked better. Soon I would learn how much better...

I won all three motos (heats) at a track with a lot of sand and dust. I noticed the bike seemed to be running richer at top RPMs as the race went on. I still won, so I just assumed the filter was a litter clogged. Back at home, I removed the seat and saw the filter was completely buried in sand! A section of the rear fender broke off, allowing the rear tire to fill the airbox with sand. I was shocked that it even ran. I tore down the motor, figuring I sanded it. Nope. The inside of the motor, carb and intake were completely clean. I put the motor back together and raced it another 2 years before I sold it.

There is no doubt in my mind that a foam filter would have cost me the race, and I would have sanded the motor. My formula for long lasting engines is simple - good gas, good oil, proper break-in and a K&N filter. I've never lost a K&N-equipped motor since.

Thanks for making such a great product. It has saved me a pile of money over the years.

(PS - Feel free to edit this if you want. Folks need to know your filters really DO work better, not just last longer and make more horsepower.)

NOTE FROM K&N - We do not recommend over-oiling your filter especially on vehicles with fuel injected engines.

This summer I purchased a new (2003) GMC half-ton stepside with a 4.8L V8. At the first oil change interval, I installed a K&N replacement air filter. The installation instructions were great & the whole process took
maybe five minutes. Gas mileage IMMEDIATELY improved over 1 mpg & there is a noticeable increase in power. In fact, I think the mpg would be even higher if I weren't having so much fun with the throttle response. Be that as it may, getting almost 21 mpg with a full-size pickup with a V8 is impressive! Thanks for the great product. This has to be the #1 simplest, most cost-effective way to increase power & decrease fuel consumption!

All too often companies don't get positive feedback. This is to tell all who have put out a great product: GREAT JOB! I have a 2000 Wrangler Sport) JEEP). I have the K&N Air Filter and just put in a K & N oil filter and I have to say the air filter made a huge difference and the oil filter is great! I love the 1" nut thing! Great to put on and off!
Thanks for a great product line and keep the good work up!

I got my '03 Chevy Silverado 4.8 a month ago. Within 2 weeks I put a FIPK II on it and it was like a totally different truck. Pulling out after installation, my first great impression was the sound of my truck. It gave it a nice and powerful sound and excellent power boost! I haven't quite figured out the mpg gain but there is one! I haven't had my first oil change but you better believe I'll be putting a K&N on!! -Thanks for a great product

I have been using K&N air filters for many years. I have used them in 1978 Mercury, 1987 Jeep Wagoneer, 1976 Ford F150, 1982 Ford Conversion Van, 1990-1994 and 1996 Dodge Grand Caravans, 1997 Dodge Dakota. 1997 Polaris 4x4, 1982 Silverwing 1971- 1973 Cub Cadet 12hp mowers. The least MPG I have seen in any of these applications was 1.1 MPG and my Dakota was 3.6 MPG and the service vehicles (mowers and 4wheeler) are all easier to start and show real improvements when working. I put between 30,000 to 40,000 miles on a year in all types of conditions. The 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan we own right now has 207,000 miles on it and it uses NO oil (a testament to a good filtration) has good response when accelerating and still beats the listed MPG for when it was new with K&N air filter in place. Recently while attending a tradeshow in Terre Haute, Indiana K&N had a booth set up. I asked the gentleman about a FIPK for my 97 Dakota with the 3.9L and it is currently not listed as available, BUT he gave me the K&N toll free number and a ladies name to speak with. I left a message on her voice mail and she actually called me back the same day! (highly unusual from most companies) She is at this moment researching to see if one is going to be available soon.... Not only can I highly recommend the product but I can now truly recommend the employees of K&N. Another great thing about the gentleman at the booth was when discussing the oil filters he would not discredit or put down any competitor. He told me facts and let me draw my own conclusion. (Oil change is on my list of things to do next week complete with K&N filter #HP2004) I can see that I can actually get the life out of the synthetic oil I use without the fear of the filter breaking down as quickly and with the extra heavy canister no more torn up cans trying to get them off the vehicle, just use a wrench!

Although I currently own only few of the vehicles I listed above and have never had the opportunity to test the 10 year 1 Million mile warranty I would have to say that this is fact! not hype. Why?

* The quality of the product? Superior, every application I have tried has been a real success!
* The ease of finding the right part? Website makes this so easy this saves allot of time at the parts store, and if in doubt call the 1-800. The availability of finding a filter by size instead of application makes it
a snap to get filters for mowers and other odd equipment. Then find a good dealer from the website.
* The people? Outstanding! Employees don't offer this level of service and friendliness without having a company that supports them. K&N has not tried to sell me what might work only what is proven!

I look forward to using your filters as long as you make them.

I have used your filters for some time, primarily for increased performance in my Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Any Harley owner who has not completed the H-D Stage One upgrade (K&N Air Filter, carb re-jet/EFI adjustment and low-resistance exhaust) is not taking full advantage of their bike's performance capabilities. The K&N High Flow Air Filter is a pivotal part of this important upgrade. I also use the chrome K&N oil filters and synthetic 20W50 in my Evolution and Twin-Cam powered bikes for the ultimate in lubrication and wear protection. I especially like the back flow valve that helps prevent dry starts.

Of course, K&N filters are also used on my 2003 GMC Sierra HD pickup for the same reasons. Keep up the good work in producing top-notch performance filters.

To K&N, I started using your air filter on my 2000 Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide when it had 0 miles on it. I am a certified Harley Davidson Technician. It gave me the easiest and fastest (installment wise) zip to my Bike. Yes sir, If any one wants to know how to get that extra! kick in acceleration and long road performance, I suggest your Air Filters. Plus they are reusable. Just buy the cleaning kit and there you go, good for 10 years or the million miles. I've only just now noticed you have oil filters for my Harley. Am definitely going to try one of those. My Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 has your air filter and oil filter. I should buy your stock, are you open to the public? Thanks K&N.

Oil companies must hate you guys!

I have had your stock replacement filter for my 2000 Toyota Tundra SR5 (4wd extended cab V8) in for over 6 months now. I have always believed in your product and have had them on other vehicles. I have to say that on the Tundra, I have been most impressed. EPA rates the Tundra at 14/17 mpg. I have not seen anything less than 15 around town, and usually it is about 16. On the highway is another story, I recently took a 400 mile trip, and when I filled the tank I was surprised to see that my Tundra had gotten slightly more than 20 mpg! This was with the A/C on and averaging a speed of about 70. I just wanted to write in and reassure other Tundra owners that it really does work. With the fuel savings I estimate that the filter paid for itself in the first 6 months. Maybe you should work with auto manufacturers and get your product to be OEM.

GL-1800 air filters, and the mileage tests

Larry, this is Michael LaDue, and you and I spoke on the phone yesterday regarding my success with the K & N air filter for my 2003 GL-1800 Honda.

After we spoke, I then went out to my shop, removed the air filter that now has 67,000 miles on it, and proceeded to clean & re-oil the used filter. Once this was done, I reinstalled the used filter back into the back, and reassembled the bike.

BTW, it was 106 degrees in our area yesterday, and I have no A/C in my shop.

My observations of the filter once I opened up the air box was that the filter looked much the same as the stock (Honda) air filter did, after it only had 24,000 miles on it. The difference was that this K & N filter has 67,000 miles on it. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I did not have the world's largest collection of dead bees inside my air box, but the few butterflies did make it a bit more colorful.

I carefully removed the used K & N filter, making sure to keep the debris out of the inner part of the air box. Again, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the inner sanctum of the air box was relatively clean, with only a slight oil (breather) residue. This gives incredible credit to the quality of the K & N air filter, as it was proven that the air filter did indeed filter out 100 % of the debris that came in contact with the outside (side) of the filter. There was no doubt that this filter would need cleaning, after all...it has 67,000 miles on it, in 4 months.

That is right...67,000 miles in the past 4 months.

So, I cleaned the air filter exactly as I was instructed to do so by the instructions that came with the K & N filter Cleaning/Oiling kit. If you follow the directions to a tee, the process works like a charm, and is quite easy.

Once the filter was cleaned, and dried, I did re-oil the filter. While the filter was in the process of drying, I utilized this time to thoroughly clean out the inner air box, and the throttle plates of my intake system on the bike. Having been an ASE Certified Master Technician for the past 30 years, and having owned my own shop for a number of years, I am quite meticulous when it comes to cleaning a fuel injected throttle plate. When I was very satisfied that the air box and throttle plates were as clean as I could get them, I then reinstalled the air filter (freshly oiled) back into the air box, installed the top of the air box, and then reassembled the bike.

Start the bike up, and it purrs like a P-51 Mustang on the flight deck.

As a rider that has documented the completion of more than 1.5 million miles of riding...has set or broken 4 World Records this year so far, and is a Gear Head with more than 30 years experience, having taught at Voc.Tech colleges on the subjects of Automotive Fuel Injection systems, I feel that I am well qualified to state that the K & N air filter has (more) than proven itself to me, and to those that ride with me.

My point to that is...these spark plugs are directly influenced by the performance of the air filter. If my air filter works perfectly, then it allows my spark plugs to works as best as they can, if all other influences are correct, meaning injection spray, etc.

There is no doubt in my mind that the K & N air filter was the correct filter for this GL-1800 GoldWing. Rather than replacing the Honda stock air filter every 12,000-16,000 miles as Honda recommends, I find that I can keep a K & N air filter in my bike for at least 50,000-60,000 miles without worry of whether the filter is getting dirty or not.

And that K & N air filter was with me 100 % of the time, providing me with 100 % performance. I love it !!!

Update - I installed an FIPK on my 02 F150 back in Feb of 03. I travel 5 states selling heavy equipment and record my mileage for tax reasons as well as fuel and maintenance. I used to get 15.5 to 15.9 mpg. Since I have installed the FIPK I have had readings as high as 17.9 but generally 17.3 mpg... Normal MPH is 70-75. I have since started using a K&N 2010 Oil Filter. Thank You for the products!

Installed K&N FIPK II on a 1998 C2500 Suburban w/7.4 liter engine. The affect was dramatic on acceleration and mileage. I went from ~10 mpg to 11.5 mpg, and I have additional HP and torque if I need them. I am even using your oil filter now. I have been a loyal customer since I installed one your air filters on my 84 RX GSL-SE, in 1987. Keep up the GREAT research and development.

I'm impressed! I purchased part number 33-2277 for my 2003 Honda Accord EX V6. While my gas mileage and power was more than sufficient before, after the installation of your product, my gas mileage increased from a consistent 25 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway to 26 mpg in the city, and 33.5 mpg on the highway at 75 mph! (with the AC on) Throttle response is even sharper with the throttle-by-wire as factory installed. My performance figures are as follows before and after the installation of your product 0-60 7.0 seconds stock, now 6.87. Quarter mile times dropped from 15.5 seconds at 92 mph to 15.1 seconds at 94.2 mph. Top speed on a closed race track increased from 138 mph to 143 mph. The only additional change that I completed with the addition of your product was to switch my engine oil to synthetic. My mechanic believes that my horsepower likely increased from 240 hp to 245. Great job in your product development. Keep up the good work!

Hello, I have a 1992 Ford F150 LWB with a 5.8 Lt. engine. It has about 205,000 miles on it. I bought it in March 1999. Since day one, it has averaged around 14.5 MPG no matter what I did to it. I am a Nascar fan and I saw a K & N filter commercial a couple of weeks ago. So, I thought I'd try the air filter, part # 33-2023. I bought it in Ripley, Ms. on 3-28-03. I checked the MPG today 4-3-03. I got 18.1 MPG. That is an increase of 3.6 MPG on the first tank. Simply amazing. I just thought I'd past this information along to you.

P.S. I am changing the oil this weekend, and using a K & N oil filter.

Great Product! I have a K&N air filter installed in my 2000 Chevy Blazer with a 4.3L Vortec V6. I just cleaned it for the first and the cleaning and oiling kit is great as well. I wasn't sure which side to oil and called the 800 number. The gentleman I spoke to was courteous and knowledgeable and answered my question. Thanks for a great product backed with great service.

I have recently installed your complete air filter kit on my 2002 Ford P/U w/5.4L engine! What a tremendous difference in performance! I have recommended the installation to all of my associates here at Ford! Of course, I will have to install your oil filter asap! Thanks for a great product!

K&N:
I have been a loyal customer of your products for many years now and never have been dissatisfied with the results. I use your filters in every product I own, my ATV's, trucks, my jeep, and everything else I have owned. That's what makes me proud to install a K&N filter, whether it be an air filter, FIPK kit, oil filter, or crankcase breather, on my vehicle because I know it will perform just as I expect it to.

I use K&N products in all my vehicles! I like not having to get a new air filter every time I change my oil. Currently I am running a K&N replacement filter in my 96 Jeep Cherokee, but I am switching to the FIPK. I can't wait! I use the oil filters too. I noticed the change in the way my engine was breathing right away when I got my first K&N air filter. Thanks for being such a cool company!

I would like to thank K&N filters for manufacturing such a great product, I have used the air filters and oil filters in every car I've had and it's made a dramatic difference in the performance and gas mileage. I have not seen these results from any other filters. Please keep up the good work...

Gentleman:
Here is a testimonial from another satisfied customer.

This is my third air filter that I have installed in my vehicles. On March 9th, I picked up my 2002 Toyota Tacoma V-6 and the first stop I made was at the local automotive store. This truck had four miles on the odometer when I installed a K&N filter. Why did I do it ? This is an excellent product and everything that is advertised about it is 100% true. I use the K&N oil filters too. A high quality product for the value.
Also, I am very impressed with the customer service department. If you have a technical question and write to them, you can expect a reply within 24 hours.
Keep up the great job and put out some new products. I will stand in line to buy K&N parts for my trucks and recommend them to all vehicle owners who appreciate good quality parts.

I recently purchased a K&N air filter for my 2001 Chevrolet Silverado Ext. Cab with the 5.3 Liter V8 Vortec. This is my first K&N Product, I have heard many good things about your products so I figured I would give it a try. After I replaced the stock air filter with the K&N I noticed an immediate change in the response of my truck (especially on the highway) also I have increased my total gas mileage per tank from 378 miles to 415 miles. I just wanted to praise you guys on an awesome product. I will have to try the intake system and oil filters next.

Thanks!

I bought a K&N air filter for my car last year. It was the best investment I ever made. I could tell a big difference in performance. I told all my friends about your product. Soon I'm going to get the oil filter you make 4 my car. I'm not ever going to get another air filter again unless it's a K&N filter.

Gentlemen:
I just replaced my factory air filter with a K & N Air Filter on my VW Passat GLX VR6. I now find myself saying is this the same car? I can't believe how much more power there seems to be across the RPM range as well as the fact that this thing really revs-up a lot quicker. My advice to anyone who is considering a K & N replacement air filter for a Fuel injected engine is to DO it now. You've already waited too long. These filters are worth every penny. As a matter of fact, I just ordered one for my Land Rover. I already use K & N Oil filters on both of these vehicles..

You guys have a great product here!
